Dr. James Bolton

I graduated with my Bachelor of Arts degree from the Moody Bible Institute, located in Chicago Illinois, in 1994. I attended the prestigious Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport Iowa, the first chiropractic college in the world, and graduated in 2007 with the Doctor of Chiropractic degree. I continued my education during the next 2 years in the area of clinical research, graduating with a Master of Science degree; becoming one of only 13 graduates with this unique MS degree. I am board certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and am licensed to practice chiropractic in the state of North Carolina.

As part of my training, I extended my studies by taking elective courses to learn additional spinal treatment skills. During my professional training and development I’ve had the opportunity to work with numerous doctors and gained knowledge and skills from each of them. I was also involved for 4 years as a vice-president in the Palmer Student Alumni Foundation, helping students successfully bridge the gap from student to doctor. During my clinical research training I designed, organized, and implemented a study examining the effects of upper cervical chiropractic care with Fibromyalgia Syndrome. I’ve also published a review paper on the link between brain cancer and cell phone use in a peer-reviewed journal.
